Purpose: The Parish Pastoral Council is a group of parishioners whose purpose is to assist the pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating, and reviewing the evangelization, worship, religious education, and service activities within the parish.
Qualifications: A council member is a person who:
* Is a Catholic in good sacramental standing in the Church
* Is a Catholic mature in faith and of excellent character, who show reverence and love for the Eucharist is excited by the changing times of the Church and would like to be a positive influence and guide for our parish.
* Meets the Boston Archdiocese requirements of current CORI, VIRTUS – Protecting God’s Children Training, and signed Code of Conduct form on file.
Members are elected by the parish and appointed by the Pastor in May & June of each year. If you are interested in serving on the Parish Pastoral Council please contact Fr. Bob 978-352-2024 or email RPoitras@parishmail.com
Meetings are held once a month from September – June of each year. Please check the Parish Calendar or bulletin for our next meeting time.
